Bentley Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support our Macmillan event today. We had a hall full of visitors who enjoyed the singing, poetry and recorders performed by each of our classes. Hedgehogs powerpoint to accompany the haiku poetry is available on their class page. Well done children, you were super!

Some people even joined in the fun by playing two of our fundraising activities - 'put the cherry on the cake' (blindfolded) and 'guess how long the veggie roll is'. Well done to our winners and those who were determined to get the cherry right on the top! Alison Cooper won £19, guessing 49cm for the length of the roll (actual length was 50cm).

The competition cakes were amazing - see photos below. The winner of the large cakes was a very personal contribution with many thank you comments for the superb work of the Macmillan nurses. Their work is greatly appreciated by all... especially those who have come into contact with them through the caring role they perform. heart

WE MADE A FANTASTIC £161.00!!!!

WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!
