Words of The Week

Rec – ‘same’ and ‘whole’

Yr1/2 - ‘primary’ and ‘secondary’

Hedgehogs – ‘challenge’ and ‘persistent’

Adders – ‘substance’ and ‘internal’

Children in Need – What a fantastic array of yellows! Thank you to all our families for their support; we raised a fantastic £55.25 from donations. We are still counting the coppers but what a great amount!

We Need Your Help! Wed 20th Nov afternoon - Wolves class are cutting out felt footprints for the altar cloth and sewing them on.  We need some help please from parents to enable this to happen.  2 adults and 22 needles just won't work!  Please let Mrs Rudge or the Office know if you can spare some time during the afternoon to help us.

Year 5/6 Tag Rugby – If your child is taking part in the Tag Rugby competition on Monday, please read the note and email sent today about the change of venue. Please note also that they will need a packed lunch on the day. We are looking forward to the event and wish those children taking part luck in the tournament.

Cake Club – This week in cake club, the children will be planning their designs. If you have not already done so, please send in a large cake container for your child’s cake.

Open Day and Evening – The much anticipated Open Day and Open Evening 2019, for prospective parents, takes place on Tuesday. If you or any of your friends have children who are due to start school next September, we would love to see you at either event. The afternoon session starts at 1:30pm and the evening session at 6pm.

Parents Consultations – The vast majority of families have now booked a slot to meet with class teachers, however, there is still a handful that haven’t. If you are having trouble logging on to the website and booking a slot, please contact the school office who will be happy to help.

Christmas Decoration Making – For those of you that are new to the school, let us introduce this annual fun event; every year we invite parents, grandparents, aunts uncles etc to come along and join us in making a host of different Christmas decorations alongside the children. Each class will be making different items and it is always a lovely atmosphere. If you have children in more than one class, you will have the opportunity to spend a little time with each of them. This year’s event takes place on Friday 29th November from 1pm. Come and get your glitter on if you can!!!
