Bentley KS1 Healthy Cafe

Wolves Class decided to hold a healthy cafe at the end of their topic on healthy living.  They made information leaflets to share their learning with parents and had practised making healthy snacks and food during the topic.  The children made tuna and cheese sandwiches - with or without salad!  They also made banana bread, tropical flapjack, fruit smoothies and vegetable soup.

Natalia's Dad came to talk to us about his chef job and gave us some top tips on customer service for when we took orders.

About 30 people visited the cafe and we made a profit of £44 for our enterprise project, which we will need to decide how to spend in class.

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
