Educake and Celebake Winners!

Katie, Laura, Amelia and Isla made a joint team for the Live Bake Off, after their cakes got through the National public vote in Anti-bullying week in November.  We went with Amelia and Isla's Mum and Laura's big sister to a High School in North London where we had 3 hours to make a vegan cake and decorate it.  The girls worked really well together and were very well organised, taking on different roles in the team.

The cakes were judged by Scott Nunn, editor of Gay News; Lady Phyll, founder of Black Pride and Jordan Gray, singer songwriter and voice coach on The Voice.  Jordan said our cake was her favourite of the whole day, not just from the Primary Schools.  She complemented the girls on their team work and said they showed that 'slow and steady wins the race.'

The girls won certificates, rainbow coloured cookie cutters and cake tins, sweat bands, highlighters, mugs etc.
