Sleepover 2019

Well... it finally arrived. Children and staff were very excited tonight about sleeping in Bentley School Hall.

The evening started with a few ground rules. The most important one... to have FUN!!

After den building and varied games, the children refuelled with a barbecue style tea of sausages and burgers accompanied by salad, fruit, yoghurt, crisps and the most amazing chocolate cake; thanks to Michela, Josh's mum for this tasty treat laugh

Hearty singing around the fire was enjoyed by all and what better than toasted marshmallows to heighten the experience. After getting a little toasty themselves, the children cooled off with an evening water fight. Some took this more seriously than others... unfortuntely Wayne got in the middle on some occasions and his water pistol didn't measure up to those of the children!

The children were fantastic all evening and really took their responsibility seriously, washng thier pots and clearing up after tea. We just hope they continue this overnight!

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
