Hedgehogs and Adders will be walked / transported to the church after lunch to take part in the learning; they need to be collected from the church at the end of the school day please. If you have children in both Wolves and KS2, please drop off and pick up younger children first. Thank you.

Policy Updates - Following recent policy updates, our Pupil Premium and Educational Visits Policies have been revised and the current versions are available now on the school website for your information.

Year 1 Phonics Screening – There will be a meeting for parents of children in year 1 on Tuesday 23rd April, at 2:45pm. This will be an opportunity for parents to find out more information about the Phonics Screening, how to support your child at home and ask any questions you may have.

Cross Country at RHS – Selected children from years 4, 5 and 6 will be taking part in the annual cross country competition held at Royal Hospital School. A massive thank you to those parents who have volunteered to help with the transport on the day; if you are one of those volunteers and you haven’t already done so, please send in a copy of your car insurance before the day. Thank you. We wish the children taking part good luck, do us proud!

Wear Your Pyjamas to School – The newly formed ‘Chicken Crew’ are organising a fundraising event to pay for the food and care of the chickens. On Friday 26th April, children can wear pyjamas to school (completely optional) in return for a £1 donation. They can even bring their slippers to wear once they are in class, but obviously, they will need your normal outdoor shoes too! All dressed up in our comfy, cosy pyjamas, we will be all set for………..

……..PTA Film and Easter Egg Hunt – The PTA will be holding a film and Easter Egg Hunt after school on Friday 26th April. Tickets will be just £5 and will include drinks, popcorn, pizza and a chocolate egg to take home (please let PTA know about any food allergies). The latest time it will finish will be 5:30pm but we would ask that you be at the school at 5:15pm for pick up in case it finishes a little earlier. Tickets are available from Aimee (Poppy, Hugo and Molly’s Mum).

Library Books – There are still a large number of library books that haven’t been returned. Please, please spend some time looking around the house for any school books. An email will be sent home next week to parents of children with books still outstanding. Thank you in anticipation for your support.

New Menus – The new dinner menu that starts after the Easter break has been sent to you all electronically. If you specifically need a paper copy, please let us know and we will print one off for you.
