Hello Adders! I hope you have had a good couple of days and are surviving this unusual situation! I will try to speak to Cain, Myles, Ollie and Nicholas today.
This is the learning that I would like you to complete today:
- Arithmetic Test 23 OR 15 minutes TT Rockstars.
- Reading – Y5 + ED/FD/IF: ‘The Inept Magician’ and Y6: ‘Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace’ Reading Comprehension in your printed pack. Please answer in full sentences. You have the answers in your pack.
- Grammar/Spelling – SPaG Mat number 3 in your printed pack. If you have time, go on Spelling Shed for about 10 minutes.
- Maths – Y5: Continue with Consolidation Activities from your printed pack; Y6: Continue with Algebra activities in your printed pack – details of these activities are on Monday’s blog;
- Maths – ED/LW/FD/IF/JL: Classroom Secrets sheets – Geometry: Properties of Shapes ‘Triangles’ Varied Fluency and Reasoning + Problem Solving.
- Science – Classification: Design a classification key based on the simple physical features of their family. You can then test out the keys on each member of your family. Only use ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions. There is an example of a classification key in your pack (the one with sweets).
- Physical Exercise – any activity that is going to give you 60 minutes of exercise.
