Hello Adders!  It is Wednesday already!

This is the learning that I would like you to complete today:

  • Arithmetic Test 27 OR 15 minutes TT Rockstars.
  • Reading – ‘Skellig’ Reading Comprehension in your printed pack.  Please answer the Vocabulary and Inference questions.  You can answer in your homework book or discuss the answers orally with an adult.
  • Grammar/Spelling – SPaG Mat number 6 in your printed pack.  If you have time, go on Spelling Shed for about 10 minutes.
  • Maths – Y5: Continue with Problem Solving activities from your printed pack; Y6: Continue with Consolidation activities in your printed pack details of these activities are on Monday’s blog.
  • Maths – ED/LW/FD/IF/JL: Classroom Secrets sheets – Geometry: Properties of Shapes ‘Symmetric Figures’ Varied Fluency and Reasoning + Problem Solving.
  • Science/Geography – Where Animals Originate From:  On a world map, locate where different animals originate from and research why they live in these environments. Things for you to consider when researching why they originally lived in these countries are:
    • Food sources
    • Climate
    • Weather
    • Terrain

After doing this, think about how the animals you have selected have adapted so that they are able to live in the UK. Present your findings as a poster or in a PowerPoint presentation.  You have tomorrow to do this as well.

  • Physical Exercise – any activity that is going to give you 60 minutes of exercise.

Have a good day Adders and don’t forget to email me your learning and upload your photos to the Discussion on the website.
