Bentley Weekly Updaye 14/12/18

Writing Workshop for Parents - Wed 23^rd Jan 6pm-7pm, Copdock School Hall; we will be holding a parent writing evening for all parents from EYFS through to Year 6.  It will aim to share how we teach writing, how parents can support at home and explain the importance of vocabulary and how we will be developing this across the federation. 

Carrier Bags in on Tuesday – Please send in a named carrier bag for your child next Tuesday so that lots of lovely stuff, like decorations, can be sent home. Thank you. 

Last Day of Term – Just a quick reminder that all children need to be dropped at the church on the morning of next Tuesday, for a special Christmas service. All parents / carers are warmly invited to join us. We need to know how many children will be attending morning club that day so we know how many children we will need to transport. Please email the school office if you know your child will be at morning club that day.  

Christmas Productions DVDs – A HUGE thank you to Craig Partridge who has worked his socks off to get some DVDs ready before Christmas for those wanting a disc of the shows. If you would like to order DVDs, either please email the school or speak to Alison Partridge. They will cost just £2.50 each and make lovely Christmas presents. 

Change of Menu First Week Back – On Thursday 3^rd Jan, there will be a different option to that on the printed menu; there will be a choice of Margarita Pizza or Vegetarian Enchilada. Dessert will be vanilla ice cream or fruit. The Friday options remain unchanged. 

Chicken Help – Are you able to come in and feed and water the chickens over the Christmas break? Even if you can do just one day, it would be a huge help. They only need to be seen once a day for feeding and fresh water, we will make sure they are cleaned out.
