Ipswich Library Award Event
It was great listening to the children singing as part of our awards ceremony today at Ipswich Library. They sang a lovely song about penguins, based on a true story from London Zoo, where two gay male penguins raised a baby penguin together as a couple. The children had been encouraged to dance to the song but I think nerves got the better of them! Both schools were awarded a Best Practice Gold Award plaque as recognition of the work we have completed on diversity, equality and respect for all. More pictures to follow.
