17.4.23 Squirrels

Hello Squirrels,

I hope you have had a fanastic Easter holidays and are now ready for another exciting half term of learning.

This week we will be beginning our new topics. In History, we will be focusing on changes to shops within living memory. In Science, we will be focuing on plants and what they need to grow. In DT we will be designing and making handwarmers. In RE, we will be exploring how Pentecost reminds Christians that God is with them always. In Computing we will be learning tyo use digital devices to take photographs and explore tools to change them. In PSHE we will be focusing on managing risk.

This half term you will be having double PE on a Monday, this will mean you only need to wear PE kit on Monday. Thiose of you swimming will also need to bring your swimming kit. 

On Friday we will also be doing Forest Schools, this means you can come to school in your forest schools clothes. These clothes will get muddy so should be something old and sensible to wear outside. It must include long bottoms and sensible shoes (e.g. wellies or old trainers).
