Hello Squirrels,

I hope you have had a lovely weekend and enjoyed some of the sunshine.

This weeks learning behaviour is work hard.

This week we will be focusing on our new writing piece all about a visit to a safari. In georgraphy, we will be continuing to learn about Nairobi and making comparisons against London. In art, we will be continuing to develop our printmaking skills, creating our own collograph blocks. In PSHE we will continue to focus on our personal safety and the ways we can keep ourselves safe, we will also be exploring this in ICT learning about our online safety and what we need to do if something online makes us feel sad, anxious or embarrassed.

PE will be on Monday and Tuesday this week, so make sure to come in your PE kit.

Thank you to all the Year 2's who joined me at our Year 2 writing club after school on Thursday, it was great to see you all so excited to develop your writing skills. If there are any other Year 2's who would like to join the writing club then please email the office to let them know you will be attending, it would be great to see as many of you as possible there.
