Welcome back everyone!  It was so lovely to see the children today (and some parents).  I have missed you all terribly!

The children have brought home their log books with the class timetable stuck on page 9 and their Spelling Shed and TT Rockstars logins stuck on page 3.  Please to have a look in their log book with them to familarise yourself with the dates.

PLEASE NOTE:  Adders Class Assembly is now on Friday 23rd October 2020.

Please encourage your child to use Spelling Shed and TT Rockstars over the weekend as everyone has been set assignments.  Thank you.

Most of the children have brought home a reading book that will need to be brought into school every day.  Some children have opted to bring in a book from home, so that needs to come in too.  These will, of course, be sanitised.

We are beginning the Reading Challenge again this year, so please encourage your child to read AT LEAST five times a week, recording it on the right-hand page of their log book.  I will look at log books every Friday so I can issue stickers for those who have read that week.

On Monday, the children will be bringing home a CGP Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling Book which they will need to bring into school and take home every day.  The children will be set daily homework from this book - it is really important that you encourage your child to complete this learning as a lot of it will be revision.
