Adders Tuesday 2nd June 2020
Date: 1st Jun 2020 @ 12:22pm
Good morning, Adders. I hope that you enjoyed the learning from yesterday and managed to access all the links. Don’t forget there is a new Discussion on the website for this week’s learning or email me directly.
The learning for today is on the timetable on Monday’s blog, but here it is too:
|
Tuesday |
Maths |
Write down the names and ages of each member in your household in years. Convert the ages into months, days, hours etc. |
Reading |
|
Grammar Vocab |
Create a vocabulary bank about life under the sea which includes verbs, adverbs, expanded noun phrases and relative clauses. |
Topic from yesterday |
Pirates: Daring Figures of History or Brutal Sea-Thieves? Many books have been written and movies made about pirates. But who were the real pirates of the past? Explore these facts about real pirates from history. You could create a fact file or information report about what you have learned, including key dates and figures. Alternatively, you could create a ‘wanted’ poster for a pirate, including facts about his/her deeds and adventures. |
ED/FD/IF/LW please go to Monday's blog for your reading, spelling and maths activities. JL, please go to Monday's blog for your maths as you can complete the reading and spelling from here. Apologies for not putting up the maths sooner! The files are also on this blog as well as Monday's.
Don't forget the Collective Worship activities and try to be active for at least 60 minutes. Have a good day!
