Foxes 2.9.24

Date: 3rd Sep 2024 @ 4:00pm

Hello Foxes

I hope you have all had a wonderful summer break and have enjoyed doing some lovely activities. I am looking forward to hearing all about your time away from school as well as welcoming back our year 6s and getting to know our new year 5s. Please remember to come in with your positive attitudes and big smiles.

Our learning behaviour will be focused around growth mindsets and the colour monsters to support us in recognising how we are feeling.

The gate will open at 8.35am. Children will need to come straight around to class as soon as they arrive as there will not be a daily mile. I will be in the classroom to welcome them.

I will be available on the gate most evenings if you wish to speak with me but I will not be able to meet with you in the mornings.

The class blog will be live by the end of each Friday with any information about the week ahead. There will also be information on the newsletters too. As part of our role to ensure the older children become independent, I would advise they get into the habit of checking these for themselves too.

Please remember named uniform including naming PE kits and a water bottle. If you wish you child to leave the school at the end of the day without you, you will need to confirm this in writing or by email, even if you have given permission previously. Children will not be allowed to leave if we have not received this.

Reminders

Wednesday - PE - Please could children wear school uniform for this week only as we will be taking class photos.

Thursday -

Friday - there will be an opportunity for parents to meet with me at 2.50pm, whilst all children are in an assembly. Please do pop along if you can, especially if you are new to having a child in Foxes class.

I am looking forward to working in partnership with you to ensure you child achieves the very best they can whilst in Foxes class.

Mrs Windmill
