Foxes Monday 11th May
Date: 10th May 2020 @ 10:47am
Good morning Foxes, hope you are well.
Well you could have been coming into school today ready to sit your SATs reading test!!!
I wonder how you would have been feeling right now, probably looking forward to getting it over and done with, I'm sure I would have been. I know you would have all done your best though, just as you always do.
I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend and managed to join in some celebrations. Some of you posted pictures so thank you for that, I will include them in our class book.
I have posted the answers for Friday's learning in case any of you did it.
Hopefully you have recieved your learning packs for the next 2 weeks, which takes us to half term. Maths is position and direction, so plotting points on a grid. I put a knowledge organiser in your packs to remind you, but remember 'along the corridor (x axis) and up the stairs (y axis)' when you read and plot coordinates. I have included a couple of games for you to practise. I have also included some of the mysteries that we often do to practise previous skills.
Grammar is active and passive voice and some reading comprehensions and writing activities as always.
Topic for this week is on families, we've looked at some of the characteristics in science so hopefully you all remember that! I have included some things to help you. Maybe you could plan and perform a dance routine with others on-line, could be fun!
I will be starting to phone you again this week so please let me know what you've been doing.
Have a super day and I look forward to speaking to some of you later.
Mrs Windmill
