Foxes Tuesday 12th May

Date: 12th May 2020 @ 7:36am

Good morning Foxes, hope you are feeling bright and breezy this morning.

I understand some of you found yesterday's verb sheet a bit tricky, but don't worry it's on my list of things to go over as and when we get back to school. I have put the answers on for you to check anyway.

Today you have a reading extract from Alice in Wonderland and a game of Battleships. Sadly, I only put one copy of the sheet in, which was a bit silly of me. Hopefully, you may be able to copy it. I know some people are going to play against a friend in class on Skype, which will help solve the problem (Thanks to Harrison's Dad for that idea!)

Please make sure you are accessing Spelling Shed and taking some time to read a book each day. I absolutely can't stress enough the benefits of reading for pleasure but educationally and throughout life.

It was great to speak to some of you yesterday and hear about some of the things you've been doing. It does sound as though most of you are missing school and your friends, but still finding lots of creative ways to amuse yourselves.

I will be phoning some more of you today and I am looking forward to hearing some more great things that you've done.

So take care, be positive, be kind and be helpful and understanding to each other.

Mrs Windmill
