Hello Foxes

It was good to see you all back in school today after your week off.

We will be looking at going back to the original routine for homework now your CGP books are almost completed. Please go through them this week and complete anything that is not already done. I will check they are all completed next Tuesday when I set your next homework. Remember to check your answers with someone at home using the sheets in the back of the books. Please do let me know if there is anything you are still not sure of. 

We will be building on this grammar throughout the rest of the year so it is important you are confident with what is in these books.

I have been trying to sort out spelling shed. From tomorrow you should see column 2 of the year 5/6 words as well as column 1 and this week spellings. It is all working from what I can see but please let me know if you are still having trouble with it. The words should all still be your diaries so you must continue to practise them.

It is also essential you read daily as part of the reading challenge. This is part of your homework and must be completed. Some of you are still not showing me you are doing this by having your diaries signed. I will be checking throughout the week that you are doing this.

Remember PE will be outside whenever posible so make sure you have plenty of warm and weather proof clothes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Fingers crossed the weather will cheer up a bit now the storm has moved away.
