Good morning Foxes

I hope you have all had a good weekend and ready to begin our last 2 weeks before we finish for Christmas.

I hope you have all had your diaries signed by an adult at home to show you have read 5 times in the last week as part of your homework. Please make sure you have practised your verses for the poem as we will be going through it this week.

We have a wide range of good quality books in class, lots of which are on your bingo sheets so please do try and read some of them. They have been specifically chosen for your age range to challenge you and develop your reading and writing skills. Please choose books which you would not normally read so you are exposed to a wide range of texts.

I would love to hear your views of some of these books.

Homework is to write a story which contains 3 words. This needs to be a quality piece of writing as you have 3 weeks to complete it. It should be at least a page,written neatly with a good range of grammar and descriptive language.

Hopefully you have all requested your Christmas dinner by now. Don't forget your £1 is you want an interval treat during our Wolsey production on the last day of term. 

We have lots of finished off to do this week so make sure you have your reading books in school so you have something appropriate to do if you are waiting.
