Welcome to our final week of the first half term,
We hope you had a lovely weekend.
Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Try New Things' and our value is 'Generosity'.
Vocabulary words this week are: 'community' and 'compacted'.
The children enjoyed learning about Stonehenge this week. Here is the link to a game that we played as I know some children were keen to play it at home - Stonehenge education game | English Heritage (english-heritage.org.uk)
Reminders:
PE kits Monday and Tuesday, swimmings kits for Monday for Year 3 and 4.
Wednesday - Bury St Edmunds, Cathederal visit. Please refer to your email that will tell you what your child needs for the day.
Thursday - Last day before we break up. We will be discussing our learning from our Cathedral visit on Wednesday and we will be having a prayer space afternoon.
School Disco - If your child is attending the disco, they are allowed to bring in a change of clothes and the children can change before the disco begins.
Friday - PD Day
Maths Bags - If you would like to borrow a maths bag to support your child at home, please let us know and we will sign one out for you.
Homework Due in Thursday 20th October
- TTR 3 x a week for 10 minutes.
- Practise weekly and half termly spellings on Spelling Shed at least 4 x 10 minutes a week.
- Complete the CGP Reading Comprehension Book - refer to your child's label stuck in their logbooks for the page numbers.
- Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
