Welcome Hedgehogs, 

We hope you had a lovely half term break. 

Here are some reminders for the week. 

Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Try New Things' and our value is, 'Compassion'. 

Reminders:

Reports - The October report will be emailed out before Friday for our class. The reports contain information about the areas that your child needs to consolidate and secure from last year and the beginning of this term. They will also be available to look at in Learning Journey's for Family sharing on Friday afternoon. This will give you time to ask any questions for parent consultations. 

Curriculum Map - Please find attached our new curriculum map for this half term. 

Tuesday  - Homework and spellings sent out. Please watch the homework video to support you with your child's writing task that will be sent out on Tuesday - https://www.bentleycopdock.co.uk/page/parent-support-videos/152879 

Wednesday  - PTA Disco afterschool 3.15-4.30pm. 

Thursday - Open Day for new parents 

FridayShared Learning and coffee & chat

We will be holding shared learning on the first Friday back from half term. Parents are welcome to come into school for a coffee and chat from 2.15pm and then visit their child's class to see what has been taking place in the classroom from 2:45pm, anyone with more than one child can come in to classrooms from 2:30pm to enable them time to get around the classrooms.  (Please can we ask that siblings in buggy's do not attend due to space in the classroom and any siblings that do attend stay on parent's lap). 

Homework Due in Tuesday 12th November

  1. TTR daily
  2. Writing - In your homework book, write complex (middle) sentences, please refer to your homework book for the task. 
  3. Spelling sheet to be completed. 
  4. Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
