Hello Kittens!

This week we will focus on making our kites, ready to fly them on the beach when we go to Mersea Island......how exciting!  We need to be designers and scientists; using our knowledge about materials.

Please complete the forms and payment as soon as possible for the trip, thank you.  I am inviting reception parents into school on Wednesday (6th)  at 3pm to discuss class arrangments for next year.  If you can not make it, please don't worry as I will send an email out afterwards confirming arrangments for next year.

Stay and play for Reception parents will be on Thursday  this week as usual so look forward to seeing many of you then.  We will change library books on Friday.

Homework

This week will be the last week that we will count your  5 reads.

Reception- please complete the phonics sheet

Year 1- you have spellings in your homework book but I know some of you didn't take your homework books so just practise what you can. 

Readng books have not been changed due to them being given out on Tuesday of last week.  We will collect them in at the end of the week.  Over the summer holiday, it would be good for you to try the reading challenge which takes place in the local libraries.
