Kittens 10.01.25

Date: 9th Jan 2025 @ 4:00pm

Hi Kittens,

We've had a lovely first week back at school. You particularly enjoyed searching for signs of winter!

This week, our learning behaviour is 'Tuning in' and our value is, 'Perseverance'.

Our words of the week are: Reception 'early' and 'empty' Year 1

Reminders:

Tuesday - Wear PE kit. Please make sure all earrings are removed and long hair is tied up for PE.

Thursday - Homework and reading books due in.

Friday - Forest School today! It is getting very cold now. Please remember to bring hats/scarves/gloves for children to wear. Please also bring wellies in a separate bag that children can change into.

General reminders:

Children need to read their little wandle books at least 3 times a week. This will help them with their segmenting and blending. Children need to read 5 times to get a tick on the reading giants class sheet and work towards their bronze/silver/gold certificate.

Please ensure you are bringing bookbags, water bottles and coats to school.

Please make sure children are wearing correct uniform; including socks and it is labelled.

5 reads for the week must be recorded by the Friday of that week and in school on the Friday in order to be marked on the chart.
