Date: 8th Apr 2022 @ 5:28pm
Hello Kittens!
Welcome back to a new summer term of learning! I hope you all had a lovely break and enjoyed your chocolate eggs.......I'm sure you did!
This half term we will be comparing the UK to Kenya and learning about Nairobi which is the capital city. In Art, we will be developing our print making skills and printing African patterns. In music, we will be improving our singing skills and listening to African music while in science, we will be learning about habitats, lifecycles and food chains. To find out more about our learning, please look at the curriculum map which is on the website curriculum page and class page.
Now spring has sprung, we will be doing Forest School every Monday. PE will also be on Monday and Tuesday every week. For Mondays, please can children wear jogging bottoms/leggings, PE short sleeve top, hoodie and trainers. This will ensure they are suitably dressed for Forest School as well as PE. Please remember to tie long hair back and remove earrings.
Mrs Atkins will continue to teach on Wednesdays and will also be working alongside me on Tuesdays.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the children tomorrow and finding out about what they have been up to over the break. As always, if you have any questions or unsure of anything, please catch me at the end of the day.
