Hello Kittens!

I hope you enjoyed the bank holiday weekend.  We will have to think carefully about what day it is this week!

We will be continuing our learning about Africa and investigating the human and physical features of Nairobi.  In RE, we will continue to learn about the Torah and in PHSE we will be learning about our sixth sense and how this tells us about how we feel about people and things.

Reception enjoyed making musical instruments and playing them to music while also dancing last week so the adults will continue to help them explore  different instruments and notation.  They will also be going on a safari and learning about animals that live in Africa.

Reception  will be learning about how important it is to clean their teeth so please could Recption children bring their toothbrush to school tomorrow in a small plastic sandwich type bag and clearly labelled.

Reception children love visiting the snack table each day and paying for their snack which supports learning about addition and money in a purposeful context.   If  anyone is able to help and support this by donating a box of cereal it would be very much appreciated.  When I buy cereal, I look for the green traffic lights and nut free.  Supermarket own brands such Shreddies, weetabix and cornflakes are usually good.  Thank you for your help.
