Bonjour Kittens!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed spending time with your families, espcially as it was Father's Day yesterday.

Our learning behaviour this week is push yourself.

In Maths, we will be revisiting place value. We will be thinking about where numbers are in the number system.

In DT, we will be exploring outdoor play equipment and using construction materials to construct our own play equipment by exploring how parts move.

In PSHE, we will be exploring how our bodies are our own and how to make sure are private areas are kept private. Your grown-up might like to look at the NSPCC materials which can be found here.

Year 1

Please continue to read at least 5 times a week.

This week's spellings include the long vowel digraph er which is unstressed and found at the end of words.

For Maths, please complete your fraction activity sheet.

Over the last few weeks we have been exploring the parts of plants and trees and naming the plants and trees around us. You might like to use the sheets below to see what plants and trees are in your own garden or local area. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find these sheets.
