Weekly homework -

  • number challenge; please practise the number facts everyday (in your child's homework book). This can be done anywhere, anytime; in the car, walking to school etc.
  • reading challenge; please read at least 5 times a week

Monday 9th November 2020

The children will come home with fridge word lists and vocabulary stickers today. For a child to learn new words, they have to hear them being used at least 50 times before beginning to understand and use them.  Please try to drop these words into your everyday conversations as much as possible rather than question or ask your child about them. You need to be like a broken record!

Please look on the website for our new curriculum map which is called Journeys Through Time.  This will tell you about what our class will be learning this half term until ChristmasClick on the Curriculum tab then How is our curriculum delivered vand taught.  Curriculum map link is at the bottom.
