Hello Squirrels,
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend!
This week we will be writing our own rhyming poems in writing based on what we have learnt from the poem 'When I am by myself'. We will be continuing to focus on multiplication and division in maths. In art we will be continuing to explore human form, this week focusing on facial feature, creating a collage face. In ICT we will be making predications of where beebots will end up, then testing our predictions. In science Y1 will be learning about animal groups and Y2 will be learning about how humans change as they mature. Later in the week we will also be having a special vistor to help us with our science... a tarantula!
This week please come in your PE kits on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. As on Tuesday you will be having a multi-skills session.
Homework:
- Spellings - stuck in homework book and on spelling shed
- Maths - Sheet in homework book
- Topic - Y1 - Use the curriculum visions book 'What are mammals?' and answer the bookworm challenge questions.https://www.curriculumvisions.com/creativeTopics/topic902Mammals/topic902Mammals.html Y2 - Explain to someone at home how a caterpillar changes as it matures.
