Hello Squirrels, 

I hope you have had a lovely weekend and are ready for another great week. 

This weeks learning behaviour is work hard.

This week we will be focusing on our locality, learning all about where we live. In Maths we will be contining to learn about number and place value and in English we will be working towards writing a recount on 'Our trip to the woods'. 

Remember PE is on Monday and Thursday. 

This week we will also send home your reading bingo sheets, this will have a variety of high quality books that you can explore at home. The bingo booklet you will recieve will be specifically for year 1 and 2. This means that year 1's will have this same bingo until the end of year 2, where as the current year 2's will only have it for this year until they move up to year 3, where they will then move on to the Woodpeckers bingo. Have fun exploring all these wonderful books!

Spellings: Spellings for this week can be found on Spelling shed, please practise for our test on Friday. 

Maths: Continue to practice towards the number challenge every Friday. 

Topic: Last week we learnt all about seasons and the weather, see what seasonal changes you can observe this week.
