Welcome back to a new week of learning!  This week I would like Year 1 to focus on their weekly homework tasks: spellings, number challenge and reading at least 5 times at home.  I would like Year 2 to do the same as Year 1 and also spend 5 - 10 minutes per day making up nonsense words using the graphemes set out below. Next week, Yr 2 will be doing the Year 1 phonic screening check.

(On a different note, we are selling children's ruck sack style bags from £3-£5. There are different colours and sizes and they would make great Chrsitmas presents.  100% of the bag cost is going directly into school funds.  Please ask me if you would like to see them and we could arrange a time for you look without little eyes!)
