Good morning Hedgehogs
Please have a look at the learning links and ideas below for today. Remember to be as active as possible and read lots!
Daily Challenge: Can you play a board or card game with your family today? If you don’t have one to hand, why not make your own!
- Morning Wake and Shake!
Live PE lesson with Joe Wicks - The Body Coach at 9am. See the link below for more information. Just type 'PE with Joe' into YouTube search and I'm sure you will find it easily!

- English tasks:
Try to read for at least 20 minutes on your own or to an adult this morning and spend 10 minutes on Spelling Shed.
Can you complete one of the learning sheets in your pack? We have been working on clauses recently. If you complete that task, why not create your own simple, compound and complex sentences?
(Remember to take a break and have some fun!)
- Maths Task:
20 minutes on TTRs – have a go in the Studio to set your Rock Speed today and also try to complete at least one Sound Check. I have now set the tables so the Garage should also be more of a challenge for some of you.
Can you complete one of the learning sheets in your pack? Perhaps work on the multiplication or division methods we have been learning about in class. Try to use the column method for multiplication and the bus stop method for division.
Extra Challenge:
Year 3 – roll a dice or select a single digit playing card (1 – 9). Now multiply that by a 2 digit number you have created using the dice or cards.
E.g. I roll a 5, I then roll a 6 and 3. So I complete the question 63 x 5 =
Year 4 – roll a dice or select a single digit playing card (1 - 9). Now multiply that by a 3 digit number you have created using the dice or cards.
E.g. I roll a 4, I then roll a 3, 2 and 3. So I complete the question 323 x 4 =
(Now make sure you have had a play and something for lunch. What jobs around the house can you help with today?)
- Afternoon Science Task
How many different materials can you find around your house that are opaque, translucent and transparent? Can you find at least 8 items for each?
Have a look on the link below to remind you a little about light to help get you started.

(Now it’s time to be active and get as much fresh air as you can. Maybe you could go for a walk or cycle with your family? Just make sure you stay safe!)
If you need some help, or want to let me know how you have got on today, remember to just make a comment on this blog. You can always share what you have created/ made or written today too!
Have a good day!
