Hello, hope you had a good weekend and managed to avoid the rain.
This week, we are going to write our own poems using the skills and knowledge we have been learning in English. Children will be able to choose their own title such as Christmas is Here, Halloween is Here, Winter is Here etc. We're really looking forward to hearing what the children produce.
In maths we are continuing to focus on place value and comparing numbers while in science we are learning classification keys. There are two short videos to watch for homework which will help in class as the children have found this a little tricky.
Thursday is a busy day as we have Forest School so come in old clothes please. We also have harvest assembly too for KS2 parents. If you would like to come, you need to let the office know so they can monitor numbers. Finally, there will be a doughnut disco for children having hot school dinners so please book a dinner for your child if they would like to join in with this.
Have a good week!
