Hello Woodpeckers,
We hope you had a fun half term.
This week, our learning behaviour is 'enjoy your learning' and our value is, 'Compassion'.
Here are some reminders for this week -
Ms Jordan is our teacher Monday - Wednesday and Miss Cross is our teacher Thursday - Friday.
Reminders:
Monday - Non pupil day. The October report has been emailed out today for our class (Apologies, we had an issue with the software saving the information we entered, however, we have now resolved it which is why you may have recieved 2 emails). The reports contain information about the areas that your child needs to consolidate and secure from last year and the beginning of this term. They will also be available to look at in Learning Journeys for Family sharing on Friday afternoon. This will give you time to ask any questions for parent consultations.
Tuesday - PE kits to be worn. Please ensure you wear the correct PE kit - look on the website if you're unsure. (PE will be with Ben who is our coach). Bonfire themed menu
Wednesday - New dinner menu starts today.
Thursday -
Friday - Homework due in. School photos; please ensure your child is looking smart and has a jumper/cardigan. 2pm-coffee & chat; come and find out about our new handwriting programme.2.30pm-shared learning starts for parents who have more than one child in school. 2.45pm- shared learning for parents who only have one child in school. Kittens cake sale to raise money. Please bring your pennies along for the end of the day. cakes will be on sale outside if dry.
Uniform
Please makesure children are wearing correct uniform; including socks and it is labelled.
Daily belongings needed in school: water bottle, planners, book bag, coat and a smile!
Homework
Reading Giants - Read at least 5 times each week and record it in the planner. Please note - the planner needs to be in school on Friday as past reads will not be recorded on our chart (except holidays).
Times Tables - Log on to TT Rock Stars, Ms jordan has set up a competition. Log in details are in the front of your planners.
History homework as explained on the last blog.
