Woodpeckers Monday 8th June

Date: 5th Jun 2020 @ 11:07am

Good Morning Woodpeckers.

I hope that your weekend was lovely and you managed to get outside at some point between the rain showers.

Did you enjoy last weeks theme 'Under the Sea'? I have loved seeing your work on the discussion page so please keep that up this week. Mrs Windmill will be checking them every day and replying to any comments.

This weeks theme is 'Sport' and the plan is attached below for you to use and access the links. Hopefully there will be no teething problems this week wink.

The Maths is all based around 'Time' which we had not covered in class yet. Take your time (no pun intended) with the maths activities and do not worry if you get a little stuck as for some of you it is a new concept. Remember to keep doing your TT Rockstars and Spelling Shed each day.

The Writing is carrying on from last week with the Talk 4 Writing  'King of the Fishes' unit. Look at the plan to see what activities on what pages you need to be completing. I have attached the Unit again this week if you need it.

There are some really fun Sport activities to do each day too and please do use the links at the bottom of the plan to keep as active as you can.

Any problems at all then please do contact the office for a quick response or email Myself or Mrs North and we will reply as soon as we can.

Spellings for this week:

Mrs North's group focusWords with the /s/ sound spelled ’sc’.

science, scene, discipline, fascinate, crescent, scissors, ascend, scented, scenery, descend.

Mrs Handscombe's group focus - Challenge Words.

Enjoy your learning today.

Miss you all lots!

Mrs Collins smiley
