Woodpeckers Tuesday 12th May

Date: 12th May 2020 @ 8:24am

Good Morning Woodpeckers.

Did you have a nice Monday? I hope you are all enjoying the new Home Learning pack and this weeks theme of Family.

Todays Maths for Year 3 is Subtract Fractions and Year 4 is Halves and Quarters. Remember to watch the White Rose short clip first to support your worksheet. There is no Classroom Secret Sheet for today so just the one sheet to complete. The fluent in five answers were attached as a weekly document to yesterdays blog so please use those to check your answers.

The Reading is 'Life in the 12th Century' for Year 3 and 'Digestion' for Year 4.

The answers for both the reading and maths are attached below for you.

I hope you enjoyed the Flying Carpet writing task yesterday- todays writing task is to complete a Character Description on a member of your family. Remember to use lots of adjectives, adventurous vocabulary and perhaps similes or alliteration.

The Art challenge for this afternoon is to create a piece of artwork in the style of Pablo Picasso- his art work is very different and a little strange so I am really looking forward to seeing which family member you base your art on.

Was lovely to speak to some of you yesterday on the phone and i will finish the rest of the phone calls today so please do come to the phone for a chat.

Have a wonderful day and keep adding to the weekly discussion if you can.

Take Care.
