Important Information to Share

Thank you for our minibus clean

A big thank you to Tilly and Isabella who gave up the last day of their holidays to clean the minibus. They did a fantastic job... with a little help from Mum and Dad ❤️.

World book Day

This year, we would like the children to bring into school their favourite book so they can share this with their class. ( we are not asking children to dress up)   We will be making Top Hats linked to their favourite book and character in class as well as doing lots of book-related activities to celebrate this day.  Next week, the children will be bringing home their World Book Day token that they can exchange for one of the available WBD books or use it to get £1 off any other book they choose.  A list of these books and other exciting activities can be accessed via the website: www.worldbookday.com/.
HAPPY READING!!

REMINDERS!!!!

Possible Communication Disruption - there has been lots going on behind the scenes in recent weeks.  We have just changed our finance package and will soon be changing our management information system.  This was due to happen prior to Christmas but is now scheduled for March.  In the meantime please keep us updated for any changes in contact details etc.  The recent change does not impact parents or pupils, but obviously impacts staff.  Payments can continue to be made via the website.  This week our phone lines have been updated to digital.  This appears to have been successful but if you are unable to get through on the phone, please send an email.  We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused.

Lunch and Morning Club payments - Please ensure that all payments are paid weekly as taken - thank you for your support

Easter Craft Club
If you have signed your child up for this, we are pleased to advise that this will be going ahead.  Payment can now be made on spider or by cash or cheque in an envelope to the office. Please ensure your child has had breakfast before attending.

Mid-Year Reports and Shared Learning - teachers have been writing a mid-year report to share updates on your child's progress.  These were sent out electronically after half term.  Shared learning is this afternoon to share books with your child.  This will be instead of family assembly at 2.45pm.  If you have more than one child, please feel free to join us from 2.30pm to allow enough time for you to chat to your children.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
