Lunchtime Co Afternoon Tea - Friday 11th October - 2pm-2.30pm.  Parents are invited into school for an afternoon tea, to sample cakes from Lunchtime Co's. new menu.  Tea, Coffee, and cakes will be available.  Parents will be able to see what’s on offer and ask any questions regarding school dinners.

Harvest Festival - this will take place on 17th October at St Mary's Church.  Parents are invited to join us as we celebrate harvest, with some singing and prayers.  Please drop your children at the church for usual start time of 8.45am.  As we will be walking back to school, please ensure your child has a raincoat on the day.  If you would like to make a contribution to the harvest collection, please send in any tinned/packet food (in good date) with your child on the morning.  These will be added to the church collection before distribution.

High School Applications - year 6 parents have until the end of October to apply for a high school place for September 2025.  Please ensure you get the application in well in advance of the deadline.

Amen Shoebox Appeal - we will be supporting the shoebox appeal alongside the church once again this year, linking this to our value of generosity with the children.  Leaflets are available in school if you wish to complete your own box.  However, we also welcome any small gifts from our families so the children can make up boxes with the donations received.  More information about suitable gifts can be found on the attached poster.  The deadline for gifts is half term please, allowing time for boxes to be packed and prepared for delivery.  Thank you in advance for your support.

Packed Lunches - just a reminder that we request that food brought into school, including snacks and packed lunches do not contain nuts as these are the most commonly known foods to cause anaphylaxis.  We aim to encourage a whole school allergy awareness approach where all staff, pupils and parents are allergy aware.  This makes our school site safe for everyone, including visitors.  We are currently in the process of reviewing our policies around food (including allergens) to ensure clear information is shared and we have a supportive approach for all.

Worship Group - the next gathering of worship group will be Monday 7th October with Mrs Robinson.  Children are able to have a hot dinner or bring a packed lunch on the day.

Data Collection - at this time of year we usually ask you to confirm the data which we hold on our systems in school.  However, the local authority are moving to a new provider which in turn means we will be transferring the data we hold onto a new database over the next few months.  Therefore, we have taken the decision to wait until we have the new system in place to check data with yourselves.  Please note, we rely upon you to keep us up to date with any changes to your data as and when they become relevant - whether that's a new mobile number, new email address or a change of surgery or medical condition - please just email us with the change so that we can keep everything up to date.
