Important Information to Share

Red Nose Day
We raised £44 for Red Nose Day, thank you to all who donated.

KS2 Walk
On Thursday 2nd April, Hedgehogs and Adders classes will be going out for a walk around the village. This will be after the Easter Service and playtime.  This links in with their Geography, and map and ordnance survey skills.  Please ensure that they have a drinks bottle for the day that they can re-fill before leaving, and they have a coat.  They will be back in time for lunch. This trip is covered by your consent given at the start of the year.

Alton Water Easter Egg Hunt

Children at school have decorated a giant Easter Egg which is going to be part of an Easter Trail at Alton Water: See photo attached
Please see information below and a flyer attached.

Hidden around our park are giant Easter Eggs, each one decorated by a group in our local community.
Our local groups currently getting crafty include:
  • Chelmondiston CofE Primary
  • Tattingstone CEVCP School
  • And your very own Bentley CEVC primary school

The challenge is to hunt down all the eggs and complete your trail sheet with the spring word located at each Egg. Once you have found all the Eggs and completed your sheet head back to the Watersports Centre to claim a sweet treat.

The trail is free of charge so put spring in your step and hop along to our Watersports Centre for your trail sheet!

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
