Whole School Food Policy
Following our curriculum focus on a balanced diet we are pleased to now have a whole school food policy.  Thank you to all of the parents who contributed to this during the consultation process and also to those who attended the coffee and chat to understand more about it.
When the children return to school after Easter, they are welcome to bring a fruit snack from home and this should be kept separately from their lunchbox which will make it easier for access at playtime. Please do not send any wrapped snack products.   Alternatively, children can have free fruit in school or purchase a rice/corn cake from the snack shop for 10p.
Please do take the time to read the policy (which is on our website) and the recommendations for balanced and nutritious packed lunches.
Here are a few links that you may find helpful for packed lunch ideas –
The school council will also be launching a drinking water campaign with the children and will keep you updated.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Cross.

Please ensure all payments for dinners and morning club are paid by the end of term.  If you are unsure what is owed, please contact the office.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
