Clubs

We will be making full use of Ben, our ITFC sports coach, on a Tuesday after school. The session will run from 3.15-4.15pm and will be for KS2 pupils (Year 3/4/5/6).  Initially the focus will be football training until our Sports Crew are fully in place to support next step decisions.  This is funded by the school for this half term, so there is no charge for parents. Please book your child on via the survey on the website.  Please ONLY complete the form if your child would like to attend as there are limited spaces and the survey cuts off when it hits the limit of responses.

Mental Health and Well-Being Workshops

All classes will be engaged in activities led by Suffolk Mind in the next couple of weeks.  See this leaflet for more information.

100 Club

The new academic year gives you a chance to be part of our 100 Club - raising funds for school and giving you a chance to win a monthly prize.  For more information and details on how to be included, please visit the website here.

Permissions

Our new starters families should be receiving notification via the website to complete a couple of forms regarding permissions for their child.  These need to be completed as soon as possible, but by next Friday at the latest please.  If you have any questions about the forms, please contact the office.  You should all be able to access the website, however, if you are having issues logging on, please do let us know as this is an integral part of our communication with you - if you are a new parent, your username will be your email address and your password will be your new pupil plus the 2 digit numerical value of their birth month followed by an exclamation mark - ie anna08!  Why not download the app to make it easier to receive notifications?

REMINDERS!!!!

Please ensure all lunchboxes and water bottles are labelled.  Our trolley is inundated with unclaimed tubs and bottles along with lost property.  ANYTHING not claimed by the end of the day will be disposed of as it has been there all summer.  Please ensure you check the trolley on a regular basis to ensure you are not missing anything.  Please also ensure all items of uniform are labelled, especially cardigans and jumpers - including PE tops, these often get discarded during lessons or break times.

Please remember to take a regular look at the information section on the website containing details of clubs and events which we get asked to share from 3rd parties.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
