Friendship Disco - please remember if you did not let us know your child needed to be walked up to the Village Hall this afternoon, you will need to collect them from school even if they are attending the disco. Uniform Order - today is the deadline. Please ensure that payment is made at the same time as sending in the order form, this can be done either in cash or by cheque to the office, or via the website. We do need a completed order form please to be able to place your order as this contains the sizing information. Possible Communication Disruption - there has been lots going on behind the scenes in recent weeks. We have just changed finance package and will soon be changing our management information system. This was due to happen prior to Christmas but is now scheduled for March. In the meantime please keep us updated for any changes in contact details etc. The recent change does not impact parents or pupils, but obviously impacts staff. Payments can continue to be made via the website. Next week we will be updating our phone lines to become digital. This may result in some disruption as it is changed over. If you are unable to get through on the phone, please send an email. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused. Curriculum Support for Parents - following our recent questionnaire we have launched more videos to support you with curriculum activities at home. Many of you welcomed access to videos and guidance online so you could go back to them when you had time. The videos have been uploaded on this page Bentley CEVC & Copdock Primary Federation: Parent Support Videos. We will be adding to this page during the year and will be focusing on Maths support videos next as part of our calculation strategies. Safer Internet - Head Pupils will be leading an assembly on this important topic next week and classes will be exploring this year's theme, 'Too Good To Be True', all about online scams. Please ensure they arrive at school before 8:30am in their PE kit with a packed lunch and plenty of water. PTA Wear What You Love Day - the PTA are inviting children to come into school on Friday 14th February wearing what they love. Again, this does need to be condusive to learning. In exchange for wearing non-uniform children are asked to donate to a hamper for one of the upcoming PTA events. This can be something chocolatey forming a hamper for the raffle prizes at the Easter Chocolate Bingo, or something motherly for the Mothers Day hamper to be raffled at the Muffins with Mum event. There will be more details about both of these events coming soon. Coffee & Chat - we will be hosting a coffee and chat event next Friday at 2:15pm for those wishing to know more about spellings. There is no pre-booking required, please just turn up on the day. This will be followed by the Squirrels class assembly. Woodpeckers Cake Sale - next Friday sees the next class cake sale on the playground after school. This time it is the turn of Woodpeckers class to provide the tasty treats. Please drop them off in the morning with the children. Don't forget your pennies to purchase them at the end of the day. |

REMINDERS!!!! Please ensure your child has a named coat or waterproof in school for break times - we do like to get outside even if it's a bit drizzly.
Those Woodpeckers who are swimming need their kits on Mondays.
Foxes need to remember clarinets for their lessons on Tuesdays.
Reception children need to wear Forest Schools clothing on Fridays and bring welly boots.
Earrings must be removed for PE lessons. Please check the uniform policy to ensure the correct earrings are being worn.
Please ensure anything brought into school is labelled. Look out for lost property on the lunchbox trolley each evening.
As we approach half term, please ensure all KS2 dinners are paid for. If you don't know how much is owed, please ask.
Playground sales - we still have lots of seeds on sale for 50p per pack. We are also looking for donations for any of the books on the trolley.
