Copdock Weekly Update 20/12/2024
Information to ShareChristmas Wishes - on behalf of all the staff, thank you to parents and children for their kind words and gifts. It's been a busy term, we hope you all enjoy the special time together as a family over the Christmas holidays and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Christmas Gallery - children have taken part in lots of Christmas activities this term and enjoyed a Christmas lunch, and of course the excellent performances this week. Please see a selection photos on our gallery. Bentley CEVC & Copdock Primary Federation: Bentley and Copdock Christmas Activities 2024
Photographs - Bentley Photographic have shared with us an option for parents to get their children's codes for their photos if they have lost them. Please use this link or visit their website for more details. You can still get digital downloads in time for Christmas.
Medication - please ensure an adult comes to school to collect any medicine held in school this afternoon - this includes inhalers. Please only send medicines back in next term if they are needed and in date. Please ensure all asthma/inhaler forms have been returned.
Dinners - it would be really helpful as we are changing our finance system next term, if all dinners could be paid up before or during the holidays please. These can be paid in cash in a named envelope to the office, or via the website. If you are unsure how many are due, please ask. We will return on week 2 of the current menu.
After School Clubs - when we return in January the Lego Club will be continuing. For details of how to join please see the attached lettter - this club is run externally and the office is unable to book children on. Our ITFC club for next half term will be open to KS2 children, we will be offering multi-sports. This club will be charged at £2 per session running from Tuesday 14th January to 11th February. Payment can be made via School Spider. Spaces are limited, so if you are unable to pay, all the spaces have been filled - please email the office to be placed on a waiting list. As such, payments will not open until 5pm this afternoon.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
