PTA Reminders - as previously notified, we will be accepting donations for the PTA Christmas Hampers all of next week.  The aim is to create a coloured hamper per class to be raffled off at the Christmas Fayre.  Please send any donations in during the week.  As a reminder, the class colours are Kittens are red, Squirrels are green, Woodpeckers are yellow and Foxes are purple.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.  There are also a couple of PTA organised events next week - the annual Wreath Night taking place on Wednesday and the joint Santa Run with the Bentley PTA next Sunday.

PTA Hot Chocolate Fridays - this will take place every Friday after school until 20th December.  At just £1 a cup it's the perfect treat to end the school week and start the weekend with.  The PTA will be running a friendly competition between classes each week to see what class brings the most travel mugs to help our environment 🌳 the winning class will be announced on Facebook that evening 🤞Don't forget to bring change 💰and a travel cup ☕ we can't wait to see you there!

Online safety - as we approach the Christmas season, you may be considering new devices as presents.  If so, remember to look at the parental controls and safety strategies available to ensure you are confident that your child is safe online.  You can set up a free account to access lots of guides on this here.  The latest update on Snapchat app can be found here.

Christmas Performances - as already notified, the Christmas performances will take place during the last week of term.  Each key stage will perform at 2pm and 6pm on their respective day.  Due to fire regulations in the hall we have to restrict the number of tickets available.  We will be allocating 2 tickets per family, per performance.  Please confirm via the survey if you will be taking these up.  If you are only using one ticket, or are unable to attend one of the performances, please let us know so that we might be able to reallocate tickets.  We cannot guarantee additional tickets for any performances, however, please indicate if you would be interested in any that may become available via the survey.  The survey will be available from 4pm today and will close at 1pm on Tuesday 10th December.  If you do not respond to the survey, you will not be allocated a ticket.  Please only attend the performance if you have received confirmation of your survey request.  Confirmations will be sent out on Friday 13th.

Parent Views - Governors would appreciate all parents taking the time to complete the questionnaire sent out in last week's newsletter.  Please click the link to share your views.

KS1 Box Request - as per last week's newsletter, KS1 would appreciate cardboard boxes of any size being brought in to be used in DT learning.  Thank you.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
