Year 4 sleepover

Class: Copdock - Woodpeckers Year: 2023 - 2024

What a fantastic evening Year 4 children had, sleeping over in the Copdock School hall. A special visit from Mr Shand put them all to the test as new army recruits... den building, fire lighting and fun! They even had some survival food packs to take home with them, yum! They played lots of games and following their buffet tea, enjoyed a water fight before settling down for a film. All were tucked in by 10pm for a good sleep... or so we thought! Jiggles and wiggles, led to stirring at about 4am and a final rise for 6.30pm. Hearty breakfasts were had by most with cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, some double helpings.

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Shand, Mrs Atkins and Mrs Jordan for supporting the evening activities and Miss Cross, Mr Drew and Mrs Austin for sticking it out for the night shift.
