Foxes 14.2.22
Date: 12th Feb 2022 @ 12:08pm
Hello Foxes
I hope you've all had a good weekend and a well deserved rest from a busy week.
As you know we have assessments this week so please make sure you get lots of sleep as this is a practice run for May!
We will be finishing off all our topic areas this week too, so there is lots to get through. I have attached the timetable.
PE is Monday and all afternoon on Tuesday, so make sure you have the right kit to be outside and inside.
If you put your name down for the cross country we will be emailing details soon but please make sure you have asked your adults that they are happy for you to attend as I need numbers this week.
Don't forget to bring back washed basketball kits.
Homework is due in on Tuesday, the spellings will be tested after half term.
See you Monday morning

FRIDAY 18th FEBRUARY
The learning for today is in the files section
English - You have a reading comprehension to complete. The answers are at the end. Please check them when you have finished. But be honest, no cheating!!
PSHE - There is a sheet to follow about the influence of the media and a powerpoint to look at. This needs to be in school when we return.
Maths - There are some links to percentages learning. Please start at the year 5 learning even if you are in year 6 to remind yourself of how to calculate percentages. Year 5 you can do the year 6 learning if you fully understand the year 5 learning.
Percentages of amounts worksheet year 6
Art - Have a go at some of the POP art. Remember to choose a word to block write. Think carefully about the background, make sure it fits the word, which should be a comic strip word preferably onomatopoeia such as POW! Use primary colours to colour it in. This needs to be in school when we return for our display. There is an image in the files section if you need to remind yourself.
I will see you on the link at 8.45am and 3pm
Don't forget your 3 word story for homework and your 5 reads. I will put up the next column of the year 5/6 words for you to start learning too.
I hope you all have a super week off, sorry you didn't get to do your final maths assessment but don't panic I shall save it for our return!!
See you in a weeks time
Mrs Windmill
