Squirrels 26.04.2021
Date: 23rd Apr 2021 @ 4:49pm
Hello, I hope you had a nice weekend. Welcome to another week of learning; time is going so quickly!
Please remember, homework is due in on Friday. Please look at last week's learning blog if you are unsure of what you need to do to support your child. It is expected that all children are supported at home to complete their homework so please ensure you check what they need to do.
This week, we are going to be weather reporters and create our own weather reports for Australia-the climate is very diverse. As artists, we will be learning collage skills and as scientists, we will be exploring how Koalas and kangaroos are similar and different. In numeracy, we will be continuing with arrays and in literacy we will be starting to plan our own Wombat story.
Thursday 29.04.21
Today, the children have been artists and drawn amazing pictures of kangaroos. Remember, tomorrow we have our spelling test and number challenge. Please ensure you have completed last week's homework as I will be collecting homework books tomorrow. Children that have not completed homework will finish it during their lunch time.
Friday 30.04.21
The children have been given new homework today:
Year 1: Spellings with nonsense words, daily reading, daily number challenge and array sheet.
Year 2: Spellings with er /est, dailyreading, daily number challenge and array sheet.
There is also a plant sheet which has been set for homework and due in Friday 14th May. Please see the newsletter for more information about this.
Enjoy the extra long weekend!
