Welcome back.

This week our learning behaviour is Enjoy your learning.

Year 1&2 vocabulary is country and capital.

I will upload the Curriculum Map as soon as it is finished during the week but we have a castles and fairy tales topic and hopefully a visit to Colchester Castle planned!

Friday 2:45-3:15 Parents invited in for shared learning. An opportunity to look through your child's books with them and fill in your parent comment sheet. I have been busy during half term writing reports for them all in their Learning Journeys so you can see where they are now and how you can help at home.

Maths - weight

Literacy - non fiction independent writing about animals using learning from last half term and reflections on Literacy and Maths learning for Learning Journeys..

PSHE/Science - healthy living

Geography - countries and capitals of UK.

RE - we are starting some learning about Easter.

Spellings - will be given out Monday ready for next week's test, so no test this Tuesday.

Keywords will be tested on Thursday. New sheets will be given out on Monday if your child left them in school.

Year 2 Maths homework books, I will check on Monday to make sure all children are up to the right point.
