Welcome back to school, we hope to see as many of you as possible.
If you are not able to attend school due to covid, see the timetable attached below - Reception have their own timetable further down the document.
Maths - all children are looking at money, so open your money boxes and purses and practise coin and note recognition and making amounts e.g. 10p in different ways using different coins. Set up a snack shop at home and get children to pay for their snacks with the correct coins and maybe advance to working out change if needed.
Writing - Write a recount of Christmas e.g. presents, what you did, who you saw, where you went.
Reading - record your reads everyday in your reading diary.
I will update games in Spelling Shed and ttrockstars tomorrow, so look in the back of your reading diary for your login details.
Topic-
RE Year 1 and 2 look at the link on the timetable for the story of Mohammed and the camel and learn what compassion is.
Music- you can all listen to the smaba music following the link on the timetable, what instruments can you hear?
IT - the Powerpoint and activity are attached. We are writing an algorithm to draw a crazy character. An algorithm is a precise set of instructions. Computers use algorithms to run programs.
Art - human sculpture, can you make letters of the alphabet using your body (you might need a friend/ parent to help)? Send the photos in please.
